Harold R. Gearhart, MBA, MAI/SRA*, Principal and Co-owner of
Gearhart, Gearhart & Gearhart has conducted a wide variety of appraisal services in
the Metro area. Mr. Gearhart has been appraising for over 20 years and has served on
the Board of Directors and held other offices in the Washington Chapter of the Society for
Real Estate Appraisers (now the Appraisal Institute). Mr. Gearhart's field of
expertise includes, but is not limited to, the following types of appraisals:
- Retail - local strip centers, regional shopping centers, freestanding property, retail
stores, drug stores
- Residential and Hospitality - apartment complexes, condos, hotels and motels

handled the management of the appraisal office for 20 years and serves as the backbone of
our company. Her personal touch is one of the keys to the firm's success and one of

marketing and computer services for the firm. Kari has been working part-time for

Designations:
The MAI designation is the highest appraiser designation and is held
by appraisers who are experienced in the valuation of commercial, industrial, residential,
and other types of properties who advise clients on real estate investment decisions.
The SRA designation is held by appraisers who are experienced in the
valuation of single-family homes, townhouses, residential income properties of up to and
including four units.
